What is My Financial Adventure?
Hello and thanks for stopping by. My name is Michael Ibrahim and I am passionate about self improvement and financial literacy. Being in the medical field, almost all my focus and education has been related to patient care and medical care. As a result, I never really got to study anything related with finances and how to best position myself in life. In talking with my co-residents and now as an attending for current residents, the lack of financial education and preparedness remains true today. I have been asked by multiple residents about basic financial principles, especially as they get closer to graduation.
I started taking a keen interest into finances in residency, and have continued to learn about multiple financial topics. My purpose with this blog is to document what I have learned, what has worked for me, and what hasn’t worked. Through sharing my personal experiences and lessons, I aim to make this a great resource for anyone who comes across this blog.
